Sustainability and environmental impact aren’t areas we merely discuss or make unverified claims about. They are central to our business. They drive our goals, our decisions, and our culture.
We are committed to producing and supplying temporary protection that protects our customers’ projects and protects our planet. We do this by reducing plastic waste, diverting used Proplex® protection boards from landfill and incineration into our GreenCircle Certified ClosedLoop Remanufacturing Scheme, and recycling this to produce new ProplexRE protection materials and ProSignRE site signage.
Our accreditations from leading standards organisations provide assurance to our customers and our people that our processes, policies and actions meet all relevant legal requirements and industry best practice standards.
We hold ISO9001 and ISO14001 accreditations and have verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) for our Proplex surface protection range.
Our Proplex ClosedLoop Remanufacturing Scheme has been third-party certified by GreenCircle. This independently verifies that the sustainability claims about our ClosedLoop remanufacturing scheme are honest and valid.
We have a long-standing relationship with Macmillan Cancer Support and are a Company Sponsor of Lighthouse, the construction charity.
Our teams regularly organise in-house fundraising events including Movember, Christmas Shoe Box collections and support for local foodbanks, as well as taking part in a wide range of charity sporting events – from long distance runs and spin bike marathons to cycling 900 miles across France for Dementia UK.
We were delighted to sponsor a two-man crew competing in the World’s Toughest Row 2024, an extreme endurance rowing race across the Atlantic Ocean. Will and Adam were rowing in support of UnLtd, the UK charity that funds and supports enterprising individuals with solutions that positively transform our society. They safely completed the challenge on 27th February 2025 after 47 days at sea.
