Protec x Mace Pride ‘Stronger Together’ Installations

At Protec, we believe that progress often starts with small, thoughtful actions – and that’s exactly what made our recent collaboration with Mace on their ‘Stronger Together’ Pride installation so rewarding.

This wasn’t just about delivering signage; it was about helping to bring an important message to life.

A creative and collaborative process

Working closely with the team at Mace, our Site Signage division supported the project from early concept stages right through to installation. It was a genuine team effort, and we’re pleased to have played a part in helping them create their vision.

Our support included:

· Detailed design consultation to bring Mace’s vision to life

· Precision printing and cutting of large-scale puzzle piece graphics

· Rigorous quality checks and assembly in our dedicated production facilities

· Coordinating delivery and installation across multiple live sites

· We even made over 200 coasters, individually designed, and then had an additional request for over 500 more coasters! A small, reminder of the campaign’s powerful message.

What’s next?

Just as important as the installation is what happens afterwards. Every one of the 10 Pride installations will now be recovered and recycled through our ClosedLoop process – a practical step towards reducing waste and keeping materials in use for longer.

We might not get the coasters back (and that’s OK 😉), but we’re looking forward to giving the signage another life through remanufacturing.

Signage that does more

This project is a good example of how site signage can do more than mark out space or meet site requirements. It can support meaningful messages, reflect company values, and still follow a sustainable path from start to finish.
