As a construction sector business we are very aware of the toll mental health takes on the primarily male workforce, with the industry having a suicide rate that is 3.7 times higher than the national average for men.
To help fund groundbreaking UK projects across the three biggest health issues facing men: mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer, some of our Protec team took on the Movember moustache growing challenge. They were delighted to raising £625 from their efforts.
Although they were quite proud of their ‘taches it doesn’t seem that any will be surviving into December! Well done Alex Iveson, Dan Roberts, Joe Callander, Chris Heyes, Zak Penny and Bohdan Koropisz – a great effort for a great cause!
