We were delighted to welcome Seddon to our UK manufacturing, recycling and distribution centres – giving their team a first-hand look at how we design, produce and remanufacture our sustainable temporary protection and site signage range.
The visit offered a behind-the-scenes view of our ClosedLoop process – where used materials are collected, recycled and remade into new products. By showing how we manage different waste streams and transform them back into high-quality protection and signage, we demonstrated our shared commitment to driving a circular economy within the construction industry.
Our partnership with Seddon continues to grow, with exciting progress already being made across the North West. Through Circle Recycling, we’re expanding our local collection network – helping contractors recycle more, reduce waste, and keep materials in use for longer.
A great example of this collaboration in action is the Bolton School project, where more than half a tonne of used protection material has already been collected and recycled. With all Seddon projects now taking part in the scheme, this partnership is delivering measurable environmental benefits across their sites.
With over 7,000 tonnes of material recycled to date, Protec is proud to work alongside forward-thinking contractors like Seddon – partners who share our passion for innovation, quality and protecting the planet. Together, we’re not just protecting buildings, we’re protecting the future of construction.
